Forbes releases 2013 list of Highest Paid Hiphop Artistes

Forbes recently released the 2013 list of the highest paid hiphop artistes. This comes shortly the released the list of the entertainment power couples list which has JayZ and Beyonce topping the list and Beyonce earning $11million more than her husband.

Diddy however tops this year’s Forbes list of hiphop’s top earners by pulling in about $50m over the past 1 year in review, specifically between June 2012  and June 2013. Samsung cut a deal with JayZ buying up a million copies of his Magna Carter album for $5million. Cash Money records has the highest number of artistes on the list with four artistes which includes the only lady on the list – Nicki Minaj.

  2. Jay Z – $43million
  3. Dr Dre – $40million
  4. Nicki Minaj – $29million
  5. Birdman – $21million
  6. Kanye West – $20million
  7. Lil Wayne – $16 million
  8. Wiz Khalifa – $14million
  9. Ludacris – $12 million
  10. Pitbull – $11million
  11. Drake – $10.5million
  12. Snoop Lion – $10million
  13. Eminen – $10 million
  14. Kendrink Lamar – $9million, Pharrel Williams – $9million, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis $9 million
  15. Swizz Beatz – $8.5million
  16. Tech N9ne – $7.5 million
  17. 50cent – $7million
  18. Lil Jon – $6million, Rick Ross – $6million, Mac Miller – $6 million, Young Jeezy – $6 million, Questlove – $6 million

Kendrick Lamar, Pharell Williams and Mackle & Ryan Lewis ties for 14th place while Lil’ Jon, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Mac Miller and Quest Love ties for the 20th.
